The East Valley Lamplighters Barbershop Chorus is the chorus of the Mesa, AZ Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. It continues to thrive because of the commitment, energy and style of the people who are our leaders. Our chapter is blessed to have a number of individuals who spend countless hours doing all the behind the scenes work that make the chapter (and chorus) succeed. Here are a few of those people:

Originally from Dedham, MA, Dick's background in the Barbershop Harmony Society (formally known as SPEBSQSA) includes 47 years as a member of the Society. He has sung with 2 quartets at the International level, and mostly recently with two-time NED Senior champion quartet RING, who finished in the top ten at the Senior International contest in 2005. Dick directed his first chorus in 1966, and has directed many men's and women's chorus since then. He was hired to direct the East Valley Barbershop Chorus in December, 2010. Dick is a professional golf instructor as well. |
